Specific responsibilities for Expert Software Test Engineer:

▪ Analysis, design, implementation and execution of system and acceptance tests

▪ Creation of load test scenarios in collaboration with the product owner

▪ Implementation of load test scripts with Jmeter

▪ Generation of test data and execution of test data management

▪ Creation of test documentation of all kinds (e.g. test plans and specifications, error reports)

▪ Load testing of microservices using SOAP and REST-based APIs with relevant testing tools

▪ Testing container-based applications and microservices (frontend and backend)

▪ Application of test frameworks and tools, such as JMeter, Mockito, Selenium

▪ Self-managed working in an agile team together Developers, Product Owner and Scrum Master

Experience and skills required:

▪ Several years of experience as a Tester/Test Analyst

▪ Practical experience in the realization of load tests, test execution and the documentation of

test results

▪ Practical experience in load testing of SOAP and REST-based web services with relevant test tools (JMeter)

▪ Hands-on experience working with a CI/CD pipeline (dealing with git, conducting code reviews, analyzing static test results such as static code analysis)

▪ Practical experience in container technologies and container management platforms such as Kubernetes or Openshift

▪ Communication skills to be able to work with PO, SM, developers and testers

▪ Practical experience in Scrum and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)

▪ Practical experience in testing in an agile environment (test quadrants, shift left approach)

▪ Analysis capabilities to investigate and evaluate deviations and anomalies in the test results

obtained

▪ ISTQB Foundation Level Certification (CTFL or Agile Tester)

▪ ISTQB Advanced Level Certification (Test Analyst or Agile Technical Tester)

▪ German language skills (written and spoken)
